Travel

The nearest International airport to Verbier is Geneva. Please try to arrive at your accommodation no earlier than 2pm, and depart by 10am. By prior arrangement I can sometimes combine minibus transfers, thereby keeping the costs as low as possible. Minibus transfer is the easiest and quickest way of getting to the resort, the journey time is under 2 hours. Private transfers operate a door to door service, shared transfers drop a short walk from the chalets.

A new train service was introduced for Winter 12/13. Eurostar is now operating in conjunction with Lyria. Together they are running a high speed train from London St Pancras to Martigny, with just one simple change in Lille, every Saturday from mid December. From Martigny you can either continue by train to Le Chable and up to Verbier, or it is a 30 minute taxi journey to the chalet door. Rail tickets can be booked in advance and sent to your home address.

If you decide to drive, the journey is easy and about 9 hours from Calais using the French autoroutes (toll payable).  I can arrange for you to spend the night before your arrival in the valley, thereby enabling you to have an extra day's skiing before settling into the chalet. Please be aware that parking in Verbier is extremely difficult, not all of my properties have allocated parking spaces, but you will be alerted of this when booking.

I suggest BA from Heathrow to Geneva or there are Easyjet & other budget airline flights from many UK airports.
